89.7 WMHK is looking for a talented, passionate, team-player to be a part of what we are doing in Columbia, SC!
We are looking for a unique person with many different skills to be the next WMHK Producer. If you can produce a show, do compelling content on-air, effectively connect with listeners in person, love events and opportunities to meet people, then you may be just right for this new opening! If you are the type of person that loves being a part of many different aspects of a team, are detail oriented, focused, and thrive in a fast-paced, fun work environment, then we want to hear from you!
The WMHK Producer will work closely with the programming and marketing departments, both on-air and off. The WMHK Producer will not only assist in all aspects of producing our morning show, but fill on-air shifts as needed, including some weekend shifts. You will work on executing some promotions and events with our marketing department.
Bachelors degree, communications or similar preferred; at least 5 years on-air experience, proficient with digital editing, office software and public speaking. Some marketing/promotions experience a must.
